सूचना - Information

विशेष अर्थ में संगठित, संरचित और प्रसंस्कृत रूप से निर्मित डाटा को समझाना ही सूचना कहलाती है।

डाविस एवं ऑल्सन (Davis and Olson) के अनुसार-

सूचना एक डाटा ही होती है जो कि ऐसे रूप में संसाधित की गई होती है, कि वर्तमान में वास्तविक या कथित मूल्य या भावी कार्रवाई या प्राप्तकर्ता के निर्णय में सार्थक हो ।

"Information is a data that has been processed into a form that is meaningful to recipient and is of rural or perceived value in the current or the perspective action or decision of recipient".
